Maura Moore

Maura Moore is an experienced venture capital professional and a champion of high-potential technology-led ventures, innovative business models, venture finance and corporate venturing.She has successfully acted as a business adviser, portfolio investment manager and venture fund manager for early stage and growth capital ventures in the TMT, ITC and Healthcare sectors and has carried out and led a number of international consultancy assignments in the United Kingdom, Central Europe and the Middle East. She is the founder of Aventura Venture Partners Limited, a venture development and corportate finance boutique and Maura has served as Executive Director of Eircom Enterprise Fund Limited (a joint venture between eircom and Enterprise Ireland) since its inception. Maura recently joined the newly established Emerging Sectors team at Allied Irish Banks p.l.c., and serves as Portfolio Director with responsibility for formulating strategy and accelerating AIB's response and interaction with new economy companies as a provider of conventional lending and venture debt finance targeting indigenous innovation and export led, high growth SMEs.
