Dr. Lorraine Byrne Master Technologist, e-Technology Development (eTD) Team, Hewlett Packard

Lorraine is a master technologist with Hewlett Packard Ireland; Imaging and printing business unit focusing on emerging technology development. She joined HP in 1998 as an analytical chemist and since then have held positions as an ink chemist, senior member of technical staff for the failure analysis department and senior technologist and program manager for the local emerging technology team. Her research interests span low power autonomous sensor development for the internet of things, fabrication of circuits on flexible substrates & application of nanomaterials to future sensing and flexible electronics. She has a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and a BSc in Analytical Sciences from DCU.
